Televisded Matches:
#1 Contenders Match:
The High Flyers: Greg Gagne & Jim Brunzell defeated The Top Guns: Ricky Rice & Derrick Dukes by submission
when Gagne submitted Rice in the sleeperhold at 15:35
**one of the best matches of the year so far, a scientific, high flying classic. The match was very even with Brunzell
and Rice really shining. The end came when Dukes made a mistake on a short doubleteam after a tag. Brunzell moved out of the
way and Dukes clotheslined Rice instead of Brunzell. A quick tag out to Gagne, a doubleteam dropkick, and Gagne slapped on
the sleeper to bring the fans to their feet.
RCW Television Title Match
Ben Bassarab defeated Bob Orton Jr by disqualification for a lowblow at 6:12
[Bassarab retained the RCW TV title]
**Orton was beat and took the coward's way out with an intentional DQ. He then laid in a beating on Bassarab until Dynamite
Kid came in and chased away Orton.
#1 Contenders Match
Dynamite Kid defeated Scott Hall by pinfall after a flying headbutt at 9:40
**really good matchup with DK after a quick start, spending most of the match being punished by Hall in a David versus
Goliath type match. DK though came back with a flurry and won the match decisively.
After the match Muraco who had come down to go guest commentary, had a staredown with DK but nothing came of it.

into Dukes as the Destruction Crew just egged him on.

[Don Muraco retained the RCW Heavyweight Title]
**Muraco was all but beat by DK when he reached into his tights and brought out a pair of brass knux and waffled DK in
the head, busting him wide open. He beat on DK for a minute until the crowd went nuts as Davey Boy Smith came running to the
ring with a chair and chased Muraco away. DBS helped a bloodied DK to his feet and the British Bulldogs embraced.

RCW Tag Title Match

Main Event
RCW Heavyweight Title Match
Dynamite Kid defeated Don Muraco by pinfall after a diving headbutt at 13:49
[Dynamite Kid won the RCW Heavyweight Title]
**short title reign for Muraco. This match went back and forth with Muraco controlling a couple minutes, then DK a couple
minutes, rinse and repeat. The end came though when after a referee bump Cowboy Bob Orton Jr came out and handed Muraco a
pair of brass knuckles. This brought out Davey Boy Smith who nailed Orton in the head with the chair and then tripped up Muraco
who lost control of the knux. DK got to his feet, kicked the knux out of the ring, nailed Muraco with a snap suplex, then
a German suplex, and then hit the diving headbutt for the title win.
As DK celebrated with DBS after the match, Ben Bassarab, Kim Schau, and Biff Wellington (the whole Stampede crew) came
out to celebrate with the new champ.

**although he did some cheating, it was obvious that this answered the question as to who was going up in RCW and who
was going down now that the Top Guns were broken apart.
Tag Team Bout
Destruction Crew: Mike Enos & Wayne Bloom defeated Kim Schau & Biff Wellington by pinfall when Bloom
pinned Schau after a double team flying shoulderblock at 10:54

comes out and signs them to meet the High Flyers next week in a #1 contenders match.

as the show came to an end.

RCW Tag Team Title Match
The Bolsheviks defeated the High Flyers by disqualification for abuse of official at 14:30
[The Bolsheviks retained the RCW Tag Team Titles]
**After a slow start the High Flyers came on strong and had this bout all but wrapped up. Brunzell was applying the pin
to Zhukov when Volkoff entered the ring and pulled the referee off the count causing the intentional DQ. The High Flyers beat
the Russians back to the dressing room following the contest.
Main Event
RCW Heavyweight Title Match

RCW Television Title Match
Ben Bassarab defeated Ricky Rice by pinfall after a flying cross bodyblock at 18:03
[Ben Bassarab retained the RCW Television Title]
**this high octane affair would have to garner some RCW match of the year consideration, as it went back and forth, in
and out of the ring. At one point after a ref bump around 13 minutes the men exchanged chair shots that left both men busted
wide open. The end of the match came when after a criss cross sequence both men hit a flying cross bodyblock. As luck would
have it Bassarab landed on top of Rice, but as the count was applied it was obvious both men were knocked out.
Main Event
RCW Tag Team Title Match
High Flyers (Greg Gagne & Jim Brunzell) defeated the Bolsheviks (Boris Zhukov & Nikolai Volkoff) by submission
when Brunzell made Zhukov submit to the Indian death lock at 13:26
[The High Flyers won the RCW Tag Team Titles]
**perhaps the only way to upstage that last match was to have the hugely popular High Flyers win the tag team titles
in Winnipeg, which is exactly what happened. Brunzell played Ricky Morton for a stretch, but eventually got his redemption
after getting the hot tag from his partner Gagne. Volkoff tried to interfere again, managing to pull the referee away, but
Gagne took him out, charging across the ring. Although the ref was now a few feet away he never stopped watching as finally
Zhukov knowing he wasn't getting out with help from his partner cried Uncle Ivan.

Six-Man Tag Match:
Don Muraco, Bob Orton Jr., & Ricky Rice defeated Dynamite Kid, Davey Boy Smith & Ben Bassarab by pinfall
when Muraco pinned DBS after a piledriver at 18:52
**a rare six man tag match for RCW featured all the top guns on the single side of the roster including the Heavyweight
champion Dynamite Kid, #1 challenger Don Muraco, and TV champion Ben Bassarab. The good guys controlled most of the match
but in the end Orton managed to trip up DBS from the outside when he was preparing to powerslam Muraco. This allowed Muraco
to counter the move and apply his own finisher while the other 4 men brawled outside the ring. As a result of that outcome
Muraco gets another title shot at Dynamite next week and Ricky Rice gets another shot at Ben Bassarab next week as well.
RCW Tag Team Title Match
Best 2 out of 3 Falls
High Flyers defeated the Bolsheviks 2 falls to 1
[High Flyers retained the RCW Tag Team Titles]
**Bolsheviks took the first fall when Volkoff pinned Gagne at 2:47
**High Flyers took the second fall by countout when Brunzell beat Zhukov back into the ring at 9:02
**High Flyers took the third fall by submission when Gagne beat Zhukov in the Gagne sleeper at 13:40
**after the match the Destruction Crew hit the ring and laid down a beating on the tag team champions. This firmly sets
up the DC as the next challenger, as the Bolsheviks disappear from the tag picture.

RCW Television Title Match:

[Ben Bassarab retained the RCW Television Title]
**another great bout between these two high flying athletes, but this time Rice got the win, but not the title after
beating the champ back into the ring.
Main Event
RCW Heavyweight Title Match
Don Muraco defeated Dynamite Kid by pinfall after a piledriver at 12:10
[Don Muraco won the RCW Heavyweight Title]
**fairly even match until Muraco nailed a clothesline that looked like it really shook up DK. The champ wasnt moving
as the sadistic Muraco nailed a piledriver and got the 1, 2, 3.
After the match DK lay motionless. As Muraco celebrated his win and took the title, he suddenly realized that DK was
defenseless. He scooped up DK and was about to deliver another piledriver when Davey Boy Smith came out to make the save.
**Dynamite Kid was removed on a stretcher from the ring with his neck immobilzed as the stunned fans slowly fled the
arena.
