counted down while in the figure-four from Mike Enos at 12:50
[The Destruction Crew Won the RCW Tag Team Titles]
**a valiant effort was put up by the champs but Gagne entered this match with a bum knee from last week's bout. Brunzell
was often double teamed because Gagne was too slow to be able to get into the mix before being held out by the ref. Finally
when Gagne was forced to wrestle extensively in the match his knee was exploited by the DC, and eventually he passed out in
the ff. Brunzell came in to break up the FF one time, but after being warned by the ref and the FF being reapplied he stood
on the apron in distress as his partner Gagne refused to submit before passing out.

RCW Television Title Match
Coal Miner's Glove On a Pole Match
Ben Bassarab defeated Ricky Rice by pinfall after hitting him with the coal miner's glove while it was being
worn by Rice at 14:04
[Ben Bassarab retained the RCW Television Title]
**Another great match between these two high flyers. The glove was actually retrieved by Bassarab around the five minute
mark but Rice dropkicked him out of the ring and the glove went flying. The rest of the match saw the two men sporadically
gain enough of an advantage to get the glove, but never enough to actually land a punch with the heavy steel glove. Finally
after Rice took advantage of the ref diving out of position, he nailed the champ with an illegal kick to the groin and once
again retrieved the glove. But before he could hit Bassarab, the champ blocked it, nailed a firemans carry, and then when
Rice was getting up Bassarab kicked him in the hand, driving Rice's own hand into his face knocking the challenger completely
out.

#1 Contenders Match for the Heavyweight Division
Non-title match
Ben Bassarab defeated Davey Boy Smith by countout at 9:55
**What was a real good match between two fan favorites was ruined after the match spilled outside the ring. Bobby Jaggers
who was doing some guest commentary by his own initiative decided to get involved, going after Bassarab who had just been
backflipped onto the announce table by DBS. Instead of letting Jaggers continue to land a flurry of punches on his opponent,
DBS went after Jaggers. However the Jayhawk managed to DDT Davey Boy on the ground. Bassarab recovered, and stumbled
to the ring, beating the 10 count. It was obvious that the TV champion had no idea what had transpired.
**Ben Bassarab is the #1 contender again for the Heavyweight title and will meet Don Muraco next week in Winnipeg.

match. However, the DC proved to just be too big and powerful for the aging High Flyers to handle.
**After the match Greg Gagne shook hands with his long time partner, and announced that he was stepping out of the ring
again from RCW, heading back to Minnesota and semi-retirement from wrestling.
