Opening Bout:
Six Man Tag Match
Bulldog Blades, Horace Curtis, & Shayne Tustin defeated Dr. Gold, Caveman Broda, & Yuri Gordienko by pinfall when Tustin pinned Gold after a hanging vertical suplex at 8:54
-for the most part the fan favorites controlled the match

Interview:
Bulldog Blades & Horace Curtis still want to advance through the tag team ranks this summer despite their recent setbacks. Shayne Tustin says he has a huge match set for next week against Rogue.

Bout #2
Jack Steele and Terminator Riggs battled to a double countout at 5:56
-you could just feel this match building up to such a finish, as neither man gained a big advantage and both seemed to want to cripple the other more then win the match. A case of two big dogs both wanting to rule the yard.

Interview:
Commissioner Baron von Raschke has more details on the Heavyweight title defenses that Vendetta, or whomever holds the title will face this summer. Tonight Vendetta will put the title on the line again against Bob Orton Jr. Baron will then decide for himself who the #1 contender is next week July 9th in Lac du Bonnet. On July 16th in Dryden a random draw in the middle of the ring with all the RCW male wrestlers' names entered will be held for the title shot that night. A fan will be picked out of the audience to make the draw. Then on July 23rd in Minot it will be fans choice. The fans will be given a ballot as they enter the arena to fill out with the names of 12 RCW wrestlers to choose from. Whomever gets the most votes gets the title shot. Then on July 30th in Estevan we will hold a battle royale with the winner to get the title shot later on that night.
An announcement regarding August's title defenses will be made very soon. And that is all the people need to know!

Bout #3
Ultra-Vixen defeated Princess Debbie Eaglefeather by pinfall after a German suplex at 3:46
-first appearance for young Eaglefeather was not a very successful one. That is UV's second victory on TV in less then a month, a record for her.

Interview:
Ultra-Vixen is not hard on the eyes or the ears, but none the less her prima donna attitude and low regard for the fans earns her the disdain of the paying faithful. She says that she is the best women wrestler right now in RCW and the next time Mad Maxine comes through town with the North American belt she will be here to take it from her. Because she is the sizzle and the steak.

Pre-Match:
Once again Oh Canada is played for the crowd as both Mike Lozansky and Chris Benoit hold Canadian flags.

Bout #4
RCW Television title match
Mike Lozansky defeated Chris Benoit by countout at 11:02
[Mike Lozansky retained the RCW Television title]
-after a handshake to begin the match they underwent a feeling out period of about 3 minutes without much action. Benoit grabbed a quick advantage but when he went for a diving headbutt Lozansky rolled out of the way. The champ went to work with a mixture of aerial moves such as a flying crossbody block, dropkicks, and a couple of big splashes into the corner with submission attempts including an abdominal stretch and a body scissors. Then Benoit made a comeback and busted out all of his signature moves including the German suplex, snap suplexes, and the diving headbutt. Unable to get a pinfall he locked on the Boston crab and the champ spent a painful full minute in the hold until he got a rope break. Benoit once again went to the top for the diving headbutt but for the second time Lozansky rolled out of the way. The champ regained some strength and went to work quickly with a slingshot suplex, a moonsault off the second buckle for a 2 count, and then finally a flying cross bodyblock which got him a 1 count, until Benoit rolled through it and got a 2 count of his own. Scrambling back up Benoit nailed him with a kick to the gut, and a snap suplex. He then went to return the favor with a flying crossbody block but Lozansky had backed too far up and the two men fell into the ropes. Benoit flipped over and for a second it looked like Lozansky would follow but he managed to right himself and fall into the ring. Referee Jurgen Hermann applied the 10 count as an exhausted and hurting Benoit just barely failed to make it back into the ring to continue the match. The men exchanged a handshake following the announcement results.

Bout #5
Owen Hart defeated Makhan Singh by pinfall after a flying crossbody block from the top rope at 9:00
-Singh controlled most of the match and Hart took a beating from pillar to post. But the young Hart would not give up and made several short comebacks only to run hard into the girth of Singh. Finally though conditioning took over when Singh could not finish off Hart. Singh missed a splash attempt, Hart then hit a running legdrop, and then went to the top. Singh caught Hart mid-air and looked like he would squash the much smaller opponent, but Hart kept pressing down and Singh could not hold him. Hart crashed on top of Singh knocking the wind from him and got the pin.

Interview:
Chris Benoit & Owen Hart say that while they enjoyed their matches tonight they still have their hearts set on the tag team titles.

Promo:
The Derelict is shown reading a children's book to a group of kids at a library. The book is about saying please and thank-you. He pauses to reach under his chair and pull-out a bottle covered by a brown paper bag and take a big swig. A belch later and he starts reading the book again to the kids who are now giggling. He takes offense and tells them to shut-up. Standing up, he stumbles backward, knocking over his chair, the bottle, and upends himself backward hitting his head on the floor.

Bout #6
No-time limit
Rogue defeated Nick Mercury after an inverted DDT at 8:34
-the no-time limit stipulation turned out to be in vain, although their matches have varied from less then a minute to a 15 minute draw, this match was in between, a typical length for an RCW match. It was hard fought and went back and forth, in and out of the ring as the animosity between these two has really heightened. The end came when Mercury went for his hotshot finish, but had to stop as referee Jurgen Hermann, clueless as usual, chose to cross over between the wrestlers and the ropes. This short delay allowed Rogue to escape and counter the move with a waistlock suplex followed immediately with the inverted DDT to pick up the big win.

Interview:
Rogue wants gold, and he's looking at Mike Lozansky's Television title with envy.

The Midgets are coming, the midgets are coming...back to RCW this summer, catch Cowboy Lang and Sky Low Low and their madcap mayhem.

Main Event
RCW Heavyweight Title Match
Vendetta defeated Cowboy Bob Orton Jr, by disqualification for use of a foreign object at 6:51
[Vendetta retained the RCW Heavyweight Title]
-Vendetta came out both hands and feet blazing, then hit some moves running off the ropes. But Orton soon caught him with a knee to the gut and went to work with elbows, chokes, chops, and slams. He went for the piledriver but Vendetta managed to fight his way out of the hold. As soon as the champ got the momentum back Orton took the first opportunity to pull out a pair of brass knux and level Vendetta. Luckily the man in charge was Buddy Lane and he spotted the foreign object and called for the bell.

Post-Match:
Lane managed to take away the knux but Orton still dragged Vendetta into the standing headscissors and we could see a small trickle of blood running down his head. Orton then nailed him with a piledriver and left him laying.

That's it for another edition of River City Wrestling.

Baron von Raschke welcomes the sell out crowd to Lac du Bonnet, which he calls "God's country". Raschke says that tonight it is his choice as to who will get the title shot at the RCW Heavyweight gold, and after talking to Vendetta its no decision at all. After Cowboy Bob got himself dq'd last week for using brass knuckles the champ wants revenge, and thats exactly what he will get. Tonight it will be Vendetta versus Cowboy Bob Orton Jr for the RCW Heavyweight title.
And that is all the people need to know!!

Opening Bout:
Rogue defeated Shayne Tustin by pinfall after an inverted DDT at 5:31
-fairly one sided match

Interview:
Rogue says that Mike Lozansky has been ringing the changes 'fer too long now, an' e 'as a deadly nevergreen comin' e's way, the lully prigger.

Interview:
Vendetta comes out to a huge pop from the sell-out crowd of approximately 900 people. He says that he has had enough from Cowboy Bob Orton and that Orton is nothing short of a bully, a coward inside. He wants to do this with brass knuckles then lets do this with brass knuckles. He offers Orton a rematch tonight for the Heavyweight title with a pair of brass knuckles on top of a pole. Those brass knuckles will be legal.

Bout #2
Nick Mercury defeated Brian Jewel by pinfall after a hotshot at 4:45
-another fairly one sided match

Interview:
Nick Mercury is excited that Baron von Raschke has set things up this summer so that anyone might be able to earn a title shot at the Heavyweight gold. Mercury says this is the best thing to happen since Bo & Luke came back.

Interview:
Cowboy Bob Orton Jr comes out with Troy Galveston at his side. Orton says that Vendetta doesn't know what he's asking for, he's a child playing a man's game. Orton accepts his knux on a pole match and says that he may forget about the knux and just pull down the whole damn pole and bust the champ in the head with it.

Bout #3
Jack Steele defeated Terminator Riggs by pinfall after a running kneelift at 7:06
-After having it tough for most of the match Riggs took control and was really punishing Steele. He looked to be closing in on the win when he made the fatal mistake of telegraphing a backbody drop which just feeds right into Steele's finisher.

Interview:
Jack Steele is being interviewed, and he considers himself next in line for a title shot after Orton. However he is interrupted by the drunk we have seen in promos the last two weeks "the Derelict". He stammers and sputters his way through asking Steele how he can find the dressing room. Steele tells him to take a cold shower and clean himself up, maybe get into rehab because he's a mess and he'll just hurt himself if he tries to wrestle. The Derelict looks like he is leaving but Steele makes the mistake of turning his back to the newcomer, who returns and smashes his brown paper bag covered bottle over the head of Steele.
Steele is busted wide open.

Black Cat defeated Ultra-Vixen by pinfall after an inside cradle at 3:11

Post-Match:
The Black Cat refuses an interview.

Bout #6
RCW Television Title Match
Mike Lozansky defeated Makhan Singh by countout at 7:32
[Mike Lozansky retained the RCW TV Title]
-bottom line was that Singh could not hang with Lozansky at his speed and when spilled from the ring could not recover in time to beat the 10 count

Interview:
Mike Lozansky acknolwedges that perhaps it is time that Rogue receive his shot at the TV title, that despite his oddness he may be the #1 contender.

Bout #7
RCW Tag Team Title Match
Bryan St. John & Terry Orndorff defeated Owen Hart & Chris Benoit by pinfall when St. John pinned Benoit after a spinebuster slam at 8:45
[Bryan St. John & Terry Orndorff retained the RCW Tag Team Titles]
-hard fought even contest, with Hart and Benoit perhaps controlling a bit more of the action. But a timely piece of cheating, a nice double team and knocking Hart off the apron, allowed St. John to hit his finisher and pick up a heated win.

Interview:
Bryan St. John & Terry Orndorff brag about how there is now more good competition for them in RCW no matter who Baron von Raschke brings in. They again suggest that Raschke bring in the NWA World champions Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard and they will take those titles too.
Owen Hart & Chris Benoit come out to challenge the assertions of the tag champs saying they were cheated out of their chance and deserve another title shot next week. The champs try and shoot them down but the challengers implore the fans to make noise and drown out what the champs have to say.
Suddenly the Sheepherders hit the ring and attack Benoit and Hart from behind. It's a 4 on 2 attack, until the crazy New Zealenders decide to attack the tag champs too. We end up with a six man brawl as we head to commericals.

Main Event
RCW Heavyweight Title Match
Brass Knuckles on a Pole Match

Vendetta (champion)  v  Cowboy Bob Orton Jr

Special Guest Surprise Referee: Baron von Raschke

By luck of the draw because there were 8 matches tonight instead of the usual 7, Jurgen Hermann was scheduled to do the most important main event. But instead the commissioner Baron von Raschke came down to the ring in a ref's shirt and ordered Hermann to the back.
Vendetta started strong with kicks and punches, an axe kick, a pair of flying shoulderblocks, and a hanging vertical suplex. But when he tried to climb the pole to get the brass knux Orton was able to recover enough to pull him down to the mat. The next couple minutes was filled with Orton pounding away at the champ with a low-tech, low-risk attack. He used the ring ropes to choke the champ, and openly risked DQ with closed fists. But when Orton tried to climb the pole he found in frustration that it was a difficult task. So he tried to shake the knux free, which he managed to do, and they bounced off the ropes and fell to the floor below.
Orton left the ring to get them but Vendetta slid out of the ring and nailed him with a clothesline from behind. The champ tossed Orton into the guardrail but when he tried to follow up with a clothesline Orton back bodydropped Vendetta over the guardrail and into the crowd. Orton then stumbled over and managed to get the brass knux on. Vendetta was just climbing over the guardrail when Orton tried to attack, but Vendetta blocked it, then tackled Orton to the ground. He managed to pull the knux off Orton but before he could put them on the challenger fed him a knee to the groin and rolled the champ off. Orton put Vendetta in a standing headscisosrs but when he went for the piledriver the champ back bodydropped him over. Vendetta grabbed the brass knux and climbed back into the ring, awaiting the challenger.
Knowing the champ was armed Orton stalled, refusing to enter the ring unless Vendetta put the knux away which he refused to do. Orton was in danger of being counted out when he grabbed a steel chair and tried to enter the ring with it. Raschke though would having nothing to do with that and wrestled the chair away from the grasp of Orton. But Vendetta took that time to try and float in a loaded punch at Orton, only to have the challenger put Raschke in harms way. Vendetta nailed the chair with the knux, and the chair bounced off the face of Raschke. Vendetta held his fist in pain, his hand perhaps broken, and Raschke was out.
Orton entered the ring and went to work immediately on the hand of the champ. He stomped at the fingers but when he tried to pull the knux off the champ made a fist and refused to let go. Next Orton took the steel chair and smashed the fingers and wrist twice. Raschke was now recovering so Orton tossed the chair out of the ring and again tried to get the knux off the injured hand of Vendetta. He put him in a wrist lock and tried to shake the knux off to no avail.
The champ fought back with some fists to the back of Orton's head to get him to release the wristlock. The champ then took the knux off on his own account and tossed them to Orton. Now believing his own good fortune the challenger went to put the knux on, only to get a standing dropkick from the champ. The knux dropped out of his hands, and Orton bounced off the ropes. Protecting his injured hand Vendetta put one arm around Orton and nailed him with a single-arm DDT and picked up the 1, 2, 3 !! The brass knuckles never actually landed a punch.

Vendetta defeated Cowboy Bob Orton Jr by pinfall after a single arm DDT at 12:11
[Vendetta retained the RCW Heavyweight Title]

Promo;
Random draw to determine who will face Vendetta for the Heavyweight title in tonight's main event.
Baron von Raschke is in the middle of the ring with a big draw drum full of names. Wrestlers from both dressing rooms come out and stand around the ring, rulebreakers on one side and fan favorites on the other. Referees and security stay between the two factions. A skirmish still breaks out between the Sheepherders and Bryan St. John & Terry Orndorff that needs to be broken up. Once that is done, the Heavyweight champion Vendetta comes to the ring. Then Baron selects a young fan from the audience to come to the ring and to verify that various names have been entered into the drum...he calls out Nick Mercury, Jack Steele, Rogue, Ricky Rice...all seems in order and the drum is given a good spin and shake. The young fan sticks his hand in, looks at the paper and announces...Chris Benoit !!
The Edmonton native seems surprised, and after a pat on the back from Owen Hart he rolls into the ring. He has a stare down with the champ that ends in a handshake and along with Raschke they pose for pictures.
Our main event will be Vendetta defending his RCW Heavyweight title against Chris Benoit.

Opening Bout:
CC Starr defeated Jerry Frontenac by pinfall after a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker at 6:19
-CC Starr is new to RCW, and had some troubles with Frontenac.

Interview:
Owen Hart comes to the ring. He says that he was scheduled tonight along with Chris Benoit to have a shot at the tag belts. But since Benoit has been picked to participate in the main event, Baron von Raschke has agreed to move the tag title match to next week. That's assuming that Benoit does not have to defend the Heavyweight title! But in the meantime the tag champs are not going to get a night off, Hart has been allowed to get himself a partner and face the tag champs in a non-title bout.

Bout #2
Non-title match
Bryan St. John & Terry Orndorff defeated Owen Hart & Nick Mercury by pinfall when Orndorff pinned Mercury after a shoulderbreaker at 9:22
-hard fought even match, with neither team gaining the advantage for more then a minute. However St. John and Orndorff had been working over the shoulder of Mercury after accidently driving him shoulder first into the ringpost, and eventually that is the bodypart they exploited for the win.

Interview:
Bryan St. John & Terry Orndorff are full of complaints tonight. They talk about how intense and focused their title preperations are, and that they can not accomadate this change in dates. They also complain about the insane Sheepherders and say they are not wrestlers, they are animals and need to be sent back to that island of convicts that they came from. When Ron Strong points out they come from New Zealand not Australia, the champs then complain about Strong being a jerk, until they run out of time.

Bout #3
Re-Match
Black Cat defeated Ultra-Vixen by pinfall after a schoolgirl pin at 2:19
-another quick victory for Black Cat.

Post-Match:
Once again Black Cat refuses an interview request.

Interview:
Ron Strong decides to fill the time by bringing in Chris Benoit. The Edmontonian talks a bit about being trained by Stu Hart in the famous Hart dungeon, and about his friendship with Owen Hart, and his idol Dynamite Kid.

Bout #4
Jack Steele defeated The Derelict by disqualification for use of a foreign object at 4:01
-Derelict looked a little unsteady on his feet so Steele pounded away at him for the first couple minutes with the Derelict going into a turtle position a lot, and going for rope breaks. Jurgen Hermann was showing way too much patience and ended up in an argument with Steele. This allowed Derelict to recover his bottle in that brown paper wrapping and nail Steele in the back of the head, dropping him like a stone, but also getting himself disqualified.

Post-Match:
Derelict kept up the beating, choking a defenseless Steele, and then pouring some remnents of the alcohol on his face.

[end of first hour]

Bout #5
The Sheepherders defeated Ricky Rice & Derrick Dukes by pinfall when Butch pinned Dukes after the battering ram at 8:07
-the Top Guns had their moments but this match really put the 'herders over the top into the #1 contender spot in the tag team scene, waiting the winner of the Benoit/Hart - St.John/Orndorff clash.

Interview:
The Sheepherders are heading back to New Zealand (drawing a cheer from the crowd), and won't be back until they are given a title shot. They say they are sick of wrestling faeries.

Bout #6
RCW Television Title Match
Mike Lozansky defeated Rogue by disqualification for putting his feet on the ropes at 12:01
[Mike Lozansky retained the RCW Television Title]
-This match traded back and forth, with Lozansky controlling the first 3 minutes, Rogue the next 3, Lozansky the next 3, and Rogue the last 3 in almost perfect quarters. Each time the advantage got traded when the competitor failed to hit his finisher. Finally Rogue tried to get the pin by putting his feet on the second rope for leverage. Usually inept but proud Jurgen Hermann actually counted the 1, 2, 3, and the fans thought Lozansky was just robbed of his title. But as he pulled his head up Hermann noticed Rogue pulling his feet off the middle rope. Hermann then called for the bell and disqualified Rogue.

Post-Match:
Rogue was accosting Hermann until Lozansky pulled him down with a crossface chickenwing which he held on for over a minute until RCW officials broke it up.

Interview:
Mike Lozansky calls Rogue a cheating coward, if he's not loading that ridiculous costume of his with a foreign object he's putting his feet on the ropes or using a handfull of tights. Lozansky says he has no problem giving Rogue another title shot if thats what the championship committee desires, but his own opinion is that Rogue is not worthy of being a champion in River City Wrestling. Ron Strong says the champ is more then a little hot under the collar!

Interview:
Vendetta comes to the ring wearing his RCW Heavyweight title that he will defend next against Chris Benoit whose name was picked randomly from a drum. Vendetta says he is enjoying the challenge this summer is posing, not knowing who he will face until just before bell time. He is looking forward to matching wits against the promising youngster Benoit, and is also looking forward to next week in Minot, North Dakota when fans will vote on their way into the arena as to who they want to see get a title shot.

Main Event
RCW Heavyweight Title Match

Vendetta (champion)  v  Chris Benoit

Fans were fairly split in this match who they were cheering for with a little more cheering for Vendetta then the challenger. Vendetta is a very popular champion but might not be as well exposed to Dryden as he has been to core spots like Winnipeg and Regina. Chris Benoit on the other hand is fairly well known throughout Northwest Ontario because of Stampede wrestling, and also is Canadian which brings out the patriotism of the fans.
Vendetta controls early with armbars, then goes to the ropes for shoulderblocks, a savate kick, and a German suplex. Unable to get the pin he is finally caught by Benoit who counters a shoulderblock with a droptoe hold. Benoit works the leg of the champ twisting, smashing, and twisting it some more. He draws the ire of some fans by leaving the ring and smashing Vendetta's leg off the edge of the ring apron. He tries to put on the figure-four but Vendetta kicks him off, sending him through the ropes.
Benoit tries to enter the ring and Vendetta tries to grab him as he enters. This draws the attention of referee Buddy Lane and creates some heat between the wrestlers. They exchange slaps, and then forearm shots. Vendetta controls the mat for a couple minutes before Benoit blocks a suplex attempt, and counters with a snap suplex. He floats over and gets a 1 count.
Benoit follows up with a German suplex, and then climbs the top buckle and comes down with a diving headbutt. But it takes him a bit to recover from the move himself so the champ is able to kick out at the count of 1 again. Benoit sends the champ to the buckle, but Vendetta moves out of the way, rolls up Benoit for 1, 2, kickout, sending the champ out of the ring.
This time when Vendetta tries to get back into the ring its Benoit trying to get the jump on him. But the champ catches him by snapping his neck off the top rope, then slides into the ring. He drops a headbutt himself from a standing position, then nails his DDT finisher to win the match.

Vendetta defeated Chris Benoit by pinfall after a DDT at 10:32
[Vendetta retained the RCW Heavyweight Title Belt]

Post-Match:
Vendetta is presented with his title and his hand is raised. He then offers a handshake to Chris Benoit, and after a slight hesitation the youngster accepts.

Champion versus champion but only the Heavyweight title will be on the line. Both men started cautiously and this seemed to let Vendetta dictate the pace. The champ controlled early with armbars and bodyscissors before hitting a dropkick and a shoulderblock for a 2 count. Finally Lozansky elbowed his way out of a reverse chinlock, then worked a hammerlock, took the champ to the buckle and rolled him up for 1, 2, kickout.
Then the two men went through a bit of chain wrestling with several reversals and counters of armbars, and other attempted moves. Finally Vendetta was able to take Lozansky down from a standing headscissors to drive him headfirst into the mat. Vendetta then pulled out the Haitian deathlock, a move which we have not seen him use in a long time. Lozansky struggled to get to the ropes and finally got a break. He then left the ring to catch his breath which drew some jeers from the crowd.
Somewhat rested Lozansky went on the attack but the bigger champion managed to absorb the blows, and finally slow down the challenger when he caught him with a clothesline coming off the ropes. Vendetta nailed a kick to the gut, a powerbomb, for a 2 count. He followed up with a German suplex, and then went for the DDT. But Lozansky wisely pushed the champion back to the buckle, driving him straight in. He followed up by throwing his shoulder into the gut of the champ several times, bieled him out, then nailed a jumping neck snap, and got 1, 2, KICKOUT!!
A couple standing dropkicks later and another 2 count for the challenger. Lozansky went to the top and hit a flying crossbody block, but the champion rolled through it, landing on top for a 1 count.
Lozansky tried to bring his knees down on the champ but Vendetta brought his knees up into the challengers gut. With their hands locked the champ then monkey flipped the champion over, only to have Lozansky snap up to his feet. As the champ tried to get up Lozansky dropkicked him right on the ankle dropping him, and pinned for only a 1 count. Lozansky tried to pull the champ up but Vendetta crumpled under that ankle. Lozansky tried to pull him up again this time having to aid him more, only to discover the champ was playing possum. Vendetta wrapped his arms around the waist of Lozansky and drove him over with a waistlock suplex. Back on their feet he lined up the DDT again. Lozansky though drove him to the corner again. This time though the champ hit the buckle, bounced off, still holding the challenger in the front face lock, pivoted, and nailed the DDT. He grabbed both legs since they were so close to the ropes, and got the 1, 2, 3 !!

Notes:
Davey Muir, Bud the Spud, Eddie Bruin, Farmer Boy Blue, Ox Bowman, and Roughrider #2 were all local enhancement guys thrown in to expand the battle royale as a last minute decision.
Terry Orndorff let his guard down, and the Sheepherders made him pay for it eliminating him after they had all worked together. However, Bryan St. John came over and avenged his teammate throwing Butch out. For some reason Luke decided to follow his partner and eliminated himself.
There is no evidence that there was ever a Roughrider #1 to compliment #2.
Riggs and Lozansky gave the fans a buzz eliminating each other, taking two of the odds on favorites out early.
Some bad blood began between Bad Company (Diamond & Tanaka) and the Top Guns.
St.John and Steele really went at it for almost 4 minutes at the end, and St. John looked tired which might effect his match later tonight against Vendetta.

Interview:
Bryan St. John is ecstatic with winning. He seems to forget about his teammate Terry Orndorff until he comes out. Orndorff says now that St.John has the title shot against Vendetta they will have to post-pone their rematch against Owen Hart & Chris Benoit for the tag belts they lost to them last week. St. John doesn't have a problem with doing that at all. Orndorff seems ticked off.

Interview:
The Sheepherders are as crazy as always. They say they have been given the title shot tonight against Hart & Benoit.

Interview:
Mike Lozansky says he isn't broken up about being eliminated early, he had his chance against Vendetta last week and found it hard to concentrate on that match knowing that Rogue was waiting in the wings. So tonight he is ready for Rogue who decided to not participate in the battle royale.

Interview:
Bad Company say that the Top Guns are no match for them and should go back to wrestling in high school gyms in small town Minnesota.

Bout #2
RCW Television Title Match
Rogue defeated Mike Lozansky by submission to the Boston crab at 8:08
[Rogue wins the RCW Telelvision Title]
New television champion crowned tonight. This match did not take long to turn into a bitter back and forth, hard punching, hard hitting contest. Lozansky missed a flying dropkick and landed on his back, immediately showing pain. Rogue went right after the back with stomps, knees, a backbody drop, and a backbreaker. Lozansky made a short lived comeback that ended when Rogue blocked a hiptoss attempt, and pulled Lozansky down onto his knee. He thne delivered another backbreaker before locking in the Boston crab. Lozansky lasted just under a minute before he could take no more and cried uncle. A great title reign has come to an end.

Interview:
Rogue talks more gibberish about him being the best and Lozansky being a cove and a lully prigger.

Bout#3
RCW Tag Team Title Match
Owen Hart & Chris Benoit defeated the Sheepherders Butch & Luke by disqualification for double teaming at 9:45
[Owen Hart & Chris Benoit retained the RCW Tag Team Titles]
The sheepherders had Benoit in trouble early and isolated him for several minutes but were still unable to get a pinfall. Once Hart got the hot tag and came in and cleaned house the Sheepherders fell back on double teaming. They ignored referee Jurgen Hermann's instructions and got themselves disqualified.

Post-Match:
The four men continue to brawl for several minutes around the announce table and then into the crowd. Butch busts Benoit open with the ringbell, while Owen busts Luke open on the guardrail. Security and officials break it up but not before a lot of blood is shed.

Interview:
After a commercial break the tag champs Owen Hart & Chris Benoit are in for an interview. Hart tries to get Benoit to let him do this one alone, but Benoit insists on standing with his partner with a blood soaked towel pressed against his head. They are angry, and dont care about disqualifications, and about wins, and about titles. They want to show the Sheepherders that you don't come into their backyard here in Western Canada and push them around. They say they will give the Bushwackers a rematch anytime, anywhere. Ron Strong reminds them that they own Wonderfully Fabulous a rematch first.

Main Event
RCW Heavyweight Title Match
Vendetta defeated Bryan St. John by pinfall after a DDT at 10:40
[Vendetta retained the RCW Heavyweight Ttile]
St. John had his moments early working over the midsection to try and take the champ's breath away. It didnt work too well though as the Haitian went to work on St. John and dominated the next few minutes with his usual arsenal of dropkicks, running shoulderblocks, clotheslines, and kicks. He nailed a powerbomb, held on, picked up St. John and nailed a second powerbomb. He covered and got the 2 count. He then signalled for the DDT but before he could hit it St. John's partner Terry Orndorff came running down, jumped on the apron and began complaining to referee Buddy Lane. The RCW zebra though would have none of it and fast counted Orndorff to make him retreat quickly away from the ring. However, the distraction did buy St. John enough time to recover and he fought back including a fireman's carry into a Samonan drop for a 2 count. He applied the bodyscissors, then whipped the champ to the ropes for the spinebuster finisher. But Vendetta countered with a go-behind, then nailed St. John with a belly-to-back suplex for a 2 count. St. John tried to hit a clothesline but Vendetta ducked under, spun St. John around and hit the DDT to finish the match in style.
